Hey, my name’s Kristin :-)

I am a visual artist and creator behind Perfect Chaos, a lifelong art project and forever evolving collection of ideas, experiments, and creative adventures.

My work constantly moves between painting, ceramics, linocut, tattoo design, music artwork, mixed media, and whatever else catches my attention. I love learning new mediums and seeing where my ideas take me, even when I have no idea where I'm going :P

My approach to art (and life) is playful, curious and a little chaotic. For me, the best way to learn is to try and my motto for art is: make your own rules, experiment with ideas, get messy, make mistakes, and see where they take me.

My art account, Art of Perfect Chaos, was created simply around my realization that:

my search for perfection always leads to chaos, but withing that chaos, I always find perfection.

Alongside my personal work, I love collaborating with musicians, creatives, and anyone with an interesting idea. Whether it is creating artwork for a song, sculpting something completely unconventional, or simply making something for the fun of it, I am down! I'm always excited by projects that give me a reason to experiment.

I'm also passionate about sharing the process behind what I make, not just the polished final piece. I love making studio vlogs about the creative process, failed experiments, strange ideas, and happy accidents that happen along the way.
